LEFT BEHIND It is April 30, 2007 and I, along with millions of others, have not yet vanished. No one knows the exact time or date (Matt 24:36) of this cataclysmic event but according to the signs of our times and the prophecies (Matt 24:7), it will be soon... very soon. Try to imagine the impact of such a monumental occurrence. Millions of people will simultaneously disappear, without a trace or warning. Traffic all over the world will come to a screeching halt as driverless cars, buses, planes, trains, all careen out of control causing accidents of proportions never before experienced. Hospitals will be overrun with accident victims and at the same time, many of the medical field will be among those that have disappeared. Staffing everywhere for everything will be reduced to a minimum if not eliminated. Travel will be next to impossible as roads will be blocked with thousands of wrecked and abandoned vehicles. The personnel needed to clear the roads (those that did not disappear themselves) will be overworked and understaffed. Traffic is just one example. Imagine the impact on your job alone if half the workforce was suddenly not there. Phone lines will be jammed for weeks on end as people continue to try to reach or locate the missing. Imagine being among those that do not disappear that day. You fought the traffic, working your way through the many accidents and abandoned vehicles. Maybe you had to walk for miles. You finally make it home after hours, or maybe days only to discover that members of your own household are among those that vanished into thin air. There will be no babies or small children left. Imagine what it will be like to have so many loved ones gone all at once. Imagine the suicides that will follow. Life as we know it will be changed forever! What could cause such a catastrophic event? Massive alien abductions? Perhaps a surge of radiation that only certain people are susceptible to? Germ warfare? Undoubtedly reasons similar to these will be speculated and debated by those that are unable to face the grim reality of their own error in judgement but many others will know the truth; that the prophecies of the Bible are continuing to come to fruition and that the massive disappearances are, in fact, the Rapture. The Rapture is the literal, visible, and bodily return of Jesus Christ in the heavens. He shall return as He left (Acts 1:9-11) and when He returns, believers, dead and living, will also be taken bodily to meet Him in the clouds. As catastrophic as the Rapture will be on those left behind, it is an event that is looked forward to with great anticipation by thousands upon thousands of Christians. We can only imagine Christ's magnificence as He comes through the clouds in all His glory and to be among those that meet Him in the air... What a moment! The Holy Spirit, working through Christians, holds back the tide of evil sweeping the world but God's influence in this manner will be removed at the Rapture. Think of the wickedness that will follow! If this alone were not bad enough for those left behind, the picture grows dimmer still because the Rapture precedes the Tribulation period; a time of God's wrath, judgment, and punishment upon a Christ-rejecting, God-rejecting world. I so look forward to being among those that vanish on that monumental day; meeting my Lord and Savior in all His splendor. Will you be in the group that disappears or will you be left behind? You are bewildered and suffering immeasurable losses. Sin and crime are out of control. Yes, you missed the Rapture and terrible times are ahead but all is not lost. God is still willing to forgive your rejection of Him. He is still willing to take you under His wing and call you one of His chosen. He is still willing to make a place for you in His heavenly kingdom where you can once again see the loved ones you miss so dearly. IT IS NOT TOO LATE! Click here before it is! Adele Davis References: Matthew 24:36 But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only. Matthew 24:7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. And there will be famines, pestilences, and earthquakes in various places. (See the full text of Matt 24 for more) Acts 1:9-11 Now when He had spoken these things, while they watched, He was taken up, and a cloud received Him out of their sight. And while they looked steadfastly toward heaven as He went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel, who also said, "Men of Galilee, why do you stand gazing up into heaven? This same Jesus, who was taken up from you into heaven, will so come in like manner as you saw Him go into heaven.
